John Tuma (Secretary)
With undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in Library and Information Science, John is currently a legal research analyst at the firm of Fox Rothschild in Seattle. He has extensive experience researching tax, corporate, and regulatory compliance matters. He is also a trained horticulturist working to promote the domestic cultivation of herbs used in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
John notes that at a recent fundraiser, Free Range Health acupuncturists and patients alike, shared inspiring stories about the "remarkable sense of loyalty and affection" between the doctors and their patients.

John enjoys spending time in his yard, having become a "dedicated gardener." He also love cooking, where he incorporates many of the different herbs he grows. He adds, "I like reading cookbooks, which for me have the same escapist quality that fiction has for other people!"
